ok well basically, in a lot of halo 3 maps people get pwned upon because their opponent out maneuvered them with a sick jump and they had no idea where they were coming from.
to prevent this i am going to try to inform people of these jumps (some may be common knowledge. some not
to make a list of essential jumps by map would be the easiest.
guardian:
bottom gold to top gold: this jump allows you to access top gols (and possibly the invis) without putting yourself in the view of the possible snipers.
sniper 2 to sniper 1: this jump allows you to not only access the sniper 1 area easyly for an escape rout but also provides great assassination opportunities when people are trying to crouch from gold to sniper along the bottom of the map.
sniper 1 to sniper 2: this is the reverse of the one above. this serves as a good escape rout or surprise attack jump
the pit:
training to green box jump: many people do not know about this one, when you spawn in either mlg or slayer you can charge foward and jump from the end of training to green box thus getting to invis or rockets faster that anyone else.

Thanx Fang. I'm a pro at Guardian but with the pit, it seems like alot of ppl be pwning me in that map sometimes. lol, I'll use that Green box jump trick to Assasin ppl.

it just occurred to me that some people here may not know how to ghost edge/jump which is crucial to some of the jumps listed above.
to ghost edge/ jump you run at a horizontal outcropping i the wall (can be done on almost any surface. places where two walls work better.) jump unto the air and hold crouch, then when you hit the wall ucrouck and thi the jump button very quickly and you will actually jump again if you did it right.
also here are some new jumps that most peol seem to not know about.
the jump from top mid to either man-cannon side or flags pawn side in narrows: this jump really helps in CTF. do not worry about not making it with the flag making you slow. you can throw it on to the land if you fall by tapping the right trigger
the jump from above bunker to laser-tower in high-ground: this one requires a ghost jump so takes practice but the assassinations and vantage points are worth it
the pit: jumping on top of sniper tower from ground without the lift to alert enemies of your presence again assassinations are worth the efort
